When it comes to the environment, sustainability and responsibilities towards the community, we do our utmost to minimalize our footprint.

With respect to energy we are taking an active part in the Energy Transition project of the Dutch Paper and Board Industry aiming at a 50% reduction of specific energy consumption by 2020 compared to 2005.

Emissions, including waste water to a co-owned waste water treatment plant, are kept to a minimum, according to best available or best proven techniques. Since 2001 Coldenhove Papier is certified according to ISO 14001.
